As the HR Generalist, you will provide consultative support services remotely (and time sin person) to clients primarily in the NY metro area.
You will work with the leaders and staff of our clients.
Must be a conscientious, proactive self-starter, have a calm demeanor and work well in a remote environment.
Asking the right questions of clients and providing clearly communicated solutions is vital to the success of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES o Candidate will exercise outstanding judgment in the execution of tasks that are delegated, know when to escalate an issue to management and when to handle it on their own.
You will advise and keep clients abreast of current and latest employment legislation and regulations on the Federal, State and local level; You will work with our clients in managing supervisors, employees and the relationship between the two o You will advise and manage file and notice requirements o Assist with new employee onboarding and orientation Train HR best practices to Supervisors and c-suite Talent Acquisition:
manage new employee onboarding and interview process Benefit Administration:
Facilitate open enrollment periods (creation of material) and benefit related questions Employee Relations:
Providing day-to-day support and problem resolution to employee questions and policy issues Performance Management:
Coach, counsel and monitor disciplinary action.
Compliance:
maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, minimizing legal risk and maximizing regulatory compliance Payroll Assistance:
Knowledgeable on various wage and hour, time and attendance rules to support the client o Use of VantagePoint technology platform including HRIS and payroll to manage client employees.
Assist account managers, creating material for implementation meetings, annual reviews and employee education meetings.
Manage and track client engagement through our CRM o Fulfill day-to-day service requests for clients, including insurance eligibility, billing, claims, and compliance issues.
Tracking of issues until closure.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of HR Related experience with responsibilities communication with company leadership Knowledge of federal, state and local lass Proven support or sales-based B2B client-facing experience Experience in the field of insurance, employee benefits, retirement plans, or Human Resources SPHR, PHR or equivalent certification not necessary but preferred Proven marketing, presentation, and/or sales support experience Computer proficiency in HRIS and/or payroll systems, marketing and Microsoft Office applications You must (be):
